Calabria won this round and will advance in the Wine Doc Face Off tournament, but Texas still lives large in our hearts. We learned all about Texas and Calabrian wines and documented the oral history of local languages from Texas German to cowboys shooting the sh*t, from traditional fishermen to Calabrian speakers of Arbëreshë, an ancient dialect of Albanian.

Season 5 is a special season in honor of Wine Doc Face Off, the crowdfunding tournament to raise funds for post-production of Modo di Bere TV.
Eight seasons. Three continents. A wine travel show like no other. Seasons of Modo di Bere TV will "face off" to earn the most votes, until the ultimate winner becomes the first season to air of Modo di Bere TV.
This season will focus on travel adventure stories. The podcast will return to our regular mix of conversation and travel adventures in season 6.
